Professor Stephen Davis is the Professor of Translational Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne, and director of the Melbourne Brain Centre at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is a past president of the World Stroke Organization, and co-chairs the Melbourne Mobile Stroke Unit (with Geoffrey Donnan).
Awards include the 2011 William Feinberg Award from the American Stroke Association, 2012 Karolinska Award, 2014 JJ Wepfer Award (European Stroke Council), C Miller Fisher Visiting Professor at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard, 2018 Stroke Leadership Award (WSO), 2019 Chinese Stroke Association International Cooperation Award, Officer of the Order of Australia 2021, and 2022 Australian Cardiovascular Alliance Award.
