Renathe is the Angels Initiative senior coordinator for South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
Renathe has a degree in biological sciences (with majors in zoology and physiology) as well as a post-graduate certificate in education (cum laude) from the North West University’s Potchefstroom campus, both obtained in 2003.
She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2007, as a Boehringer Ingelheim representative in the Vaal Triangle. She was promoted to principal representative and remained in that position until end of 2016 when she joined the Angels Initiative as a consultant.
Renathe is responsible for liaising with the head offices of the private hospital groups and with stroke and emergency societies and academic institutions. She is also the national coordinator for the FAST Heroes stroke awareness programme in primary schools.
