Pamela Aldana

México

Pamela Aldana is a medical doctor who joined Angels in April 2024 to form a new team in Mexico focused on the creation of organized and specialized networks for stroke care through the coordination of primary care networks. She says, “My goal is for every patient to receive quality care by a trained and efficient team to help preserve the most important and irreplaceable thing that every human being has – life”.

Pamela began her studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), driven by her admiration for science and health. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Health Sciences and Nutrition, and holds master’s degrees in Research in Medical Sciences (with a specialty in Research in Health Sciences) and in Institutional Health Management. She is currently pursuing an online degree in Genetics and Immuno-Oncology at Harvard Medical School.

She previously worked as a Medical Scientific Liaison in an international pharmaceutical company in the cardiovascular and metabolic area, focusing on the use of updated scientific evidence through health management systems.

RECOGNITIONS

• Award for the early and timely detection campaign of patients with needs for the generation of data and implementation of team initiatives for cardiovascular, endocrinological and renal diseases in the Mexico.

• Founding Congressman at the 1st Mexican Summit on Heart Failure in Guadalajara, México

• Collaboration with the IMSS Foundation regarding the implementation of strategic programs focused on the generation and dissemination of scientific information to medical specialists in México.
